In this unit we looked at two videos of an English lesson. In the first video the teacher seemed unprepared, harsh and messy, which seemed to affect the students' active participation. In the second video the teacher was well prepared, smiling and the lesson more structured. This contributed to a smoother flow and transition to the different phases of the lesson and encouraged active student participation. The videos are a great example of how the teacher's attitude can affect the learning experience in the classroom.
