In this Unit I learn about receptive skills which are reading and listening and that both skills are equally important. As a teacher I have to remember that it's very important that I chose carefully the reading texts while doing so I should consider my students and not my own preferences. Once I chose the topic it won't always be equally interesting to all my students but as a teacher I can build heir interest during engage phase of the lesson by making it more interesting and fun. When introducing text to the students I should always make sure they are familiar with vocabulary or pre-teach it to the class so they can get the understanding of the text.
