Today concludes unit eighteen which focused on modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. Modal verbs seem confusing from the outside but do become quite simple once you are familiar with them. Modals help express different degrees of formality where as passive voice help put focus on different parts of the sentence depending on what you wish to emphasis. Phrasal verbs are just verbs with multiple words working together to operate as a single phrase.
