Unit 20 provided an excellent overview of some of the common problems that an ESL teacher might face in a classroom situation. Lingering concerns such as how to handle first lessons, different levels of students, large groups, use of native language, and reluctant students are issues that all teachers should be prepared to encounter and have realistic expectations for their management.
I particularly took a lot away from Task 2 for Unit 20, as it was a good opportunity to reflect on the time and sweat I've put into this course. I also wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you to the writers of this course. It is exceedingly apparent that these units were concisely written as a labor of love, and I am unbelievably happy to have taken on the challenge! Thank You!!
