In this unit we looked at advantages/disadvantages of coursebooks and general lesson material. For instance, one of the advantages of a coursebook would be that it is graded, tested and tried out for the specific language level you're teaching at, but might not necessarily fit the needs/interests of the class you're teaching. This unit was very informative on the topic and included links to websites for creating your own lesson material if needed.
