Watching the two videos prompted an emotional response in me: I was actually uncomfortable watching the first video and did not like the teacher at all; I wanted him to leave the classroom. It was interesting to observe this response in myself because I knew that it was not a real situation, but it reinforced for me how bad negative feedback can be and how teachers have a lot of power to influence students' learning experiences and how they feel about learning. Beyond this, watching the lessons gave me good ideas for how to proceed in teaching English and a model, from lesson two, about how I want to be in the classroom.
