I learnt that solely depending on course books has plenty of disadvantages and as a trainer I should constantly work towards supplementing my course books with additional creative content. I also learnt that though created materials have a specific purpose and objective they may not always be suitable for learners of all levels and hence should be customized time and again and this could be time consuming, so I will need to invest in developing material well in advance before my coaching session with the learner. This unit helped me understand the pros and cons of using course books in a classroom.
