This challenging module taught me just about everything I needed to know about teaching pronunciation on a basic level, from stress and sound joining to and linked speech and phonetics. The phonetic alphabet section could have been a lesson in itself, as it was extremely informative and touched on a basic but complete method of explaining pronunciation to students. I also learned a great deal from the section of the module on stress - it was a comprehensive and interesting take on a speech component that I'm used to using in everyday life, so much so that I rarely stop and think about its complexity.
