This unit covered the teaching of productive skills, writing and speaking. Why we choose to communicate, the different activities and the benefit of each. Whether they were accuracy or fluency based activities, the benefits of each. It also covered games the benefits and when they are best used.
I feel that i have learnt more of the difficulties of teaching this especially when realizing that just because a word is spelt one way but spoken another. How difficult that can be for someone who is just learning the language.
