In unit 5 of "managing classes" it shows us how to manage the amount of students in the classroom and in different various situations. For example, as teachers we can put students in pairs, whole-class grouping, group work and individually working on their own. In addition, there are different types of classroom arrangements that help students learn and engage which helps increase their talk time and teachers time for building up rapport. There are three different types of classroom arrangements, which they are orderly rows, circles and horseshoes and separate tables. Each of those arrangement have their pros and cons. For example, horseshoe arrangement is meant for the teacher to be in the center and have the students pair up easily and they have the benefit of looking at all the other students in the classroom as well as being more focus on the lesson.
