The content of this lesson is about receptive skills. Receptive skills are reading and listening. They are very important for English learners to develop. For teachers there is a risk of introducing material that is too advanced for the students. If introducing advanced material it is important to pre-teach the vocabulary so the student can be receptive. There are many exercises that teachers can use for receptive skills and they are introduced in this unit.
