This unit explained what made a good teacher and gave various descriptions of learners. What I understood most from this unit is that a good teacher is a motivator, a prompter, is kind and patient, livey, loves to teach, and mostly cares about the learners in class. I've learned that teaching needs to be tailored to who is learning, what their skill level is, and what their motivations are for taking the class. At times the teacher needs to be many different things, prompter, participant, model, observor, manager, etc. There are various ways to approach the lessons to teach a more 'student-centered
lesson.
