This course covers the present tense of the English language. Contrary to the conventional opinion that English has two tenses. the course establishes that there are three tenses, Present, past and future. Each of these three tenses has four aspects making a total of twelve aspects. The course has opened my eyes to the use of the various tenses especially, the use of 'for' and 'since' which before now I have misapplied the two prepositions. But most of all, the content of this course has provided me with the necessary tools needed to teach learners of English, tenses in a practical way that learners are able to grasp easily.
