This section dealt with using materials in the classroom. Textbooks are always an option, and can provide a structure to the lessons being taught. But it is also important to use materials outside of the textbook so that the students remain interested in the topics and issues specific to a teacher's classroom are addressed. Authentic materials such as newspapers and magazines can be used to add variety to the lessons and provide the students with more real life English. Teachers can also create materials that address specific topic and issues in their classrooms.
