When it comes to productive skills, it is indeed true that writing skill is often times ignored by students as well as teachers since most of the time, the focus when learning a language is just to learn how to speak the language and how to read. Writing is boring if a teacher doesn't know any methods on how to teach writing and just ask the student to write and write. In this unit however, it discusses various ways on how to teach productive skills. Most of the time, my focus as teacher is to teach students how to express theirselves via speaking but now I realized that writing is indeed equally important and that students also need to improve their writing skills.
