This unit made me think for the first time about how the four components of learning a language can be broken into different categories other than written and oral understanding. Even within the category of reading, it was interesting to note the importance of distinguishing between authentic texts, intended for native or fluent speakers, from those designed for learners. I found the example worksheet quite useful as a guide to how such lessons could be structured.
