In this unit I learned that there are big differences in how a class is being taught, and how the students respond. Most importantly, I learned that the way the teacher interacts with the students, corrects them and makes them feel included has a major impact on how comfortable they are participating. Also, that clearly showing the purpose of, and the format of each exercise is important to make students understand what is going on.
