In this unit I have learned how to effectively utilize testing to determine the level and standing of a students current skills. To use progression tests to measure their progress throughout the course and finally to use practice tests to prepare them for external exams if they wish to have theirs skills formalized. I have also learned that testing can be done in several different ways, standard written tests or games played by the students can both give a good indication of the students level. Students can also self-test with the aid of the teacher.
