This unit was important because as a non-native ESL teacher in third world countries, I believe that classes without the use of any media are impossible to perform and probably not effective. With an entire generation growing up with smartphones, it is hard to believe that only writing and speech will attract enough attention, and will develop students' vocabulary, pronunciation and interest, especially the younger ones, for the content addressed. It is also important to analyze that some digital media must be previously tested and that the teacher needs to have some ability with these means. The unit was very handy in every way.
