I have learned that I can not enter into the classroom haphazardly, expecting everything to go well when i haven't properly planned for it. I have understood that it is easier to the track progress of the teacher and of the learner by using this method. I have learnt the importance of self assessment that i need it to see what areas I need to improve in and what areas I have grown in, so that I can work on myself for the benefit of the learners. It is easier to engage the learner of the language using teaching aids and teaching without them may be deemed too technical and boring. If I don't use them, I risk losing the attention of many students and the lesson becomes more teacher oriented.
