Once again, I think much time should be spent on differentiating the type of structures used because they can easily be confused. The use of 'shan't' was a complete surprise to me by the fact that it is only used in British English. Being from a British colony, i used to take a lot of these English forms for granted, but I have to keep in my that I will be teaching English to people and this should be mentioned to different learners. Hence, i have to do my best to master all of them and be able to convey, clearly, the message to those who are not under the category of English L1
