This unit was helpful because it provided some insight to using course textbooks. It gives the clear message that course books should be used in addition with created materials to better tailor the lesson to the specific group you're teaching. I also like that this unit provides material that I can actually use in the classroom. As a new potential teacher, this unit gives me more confidence in building and maintaining structure with the course.
