This course on grammer focused on conditionals in speech and various verb tenses/time expressions. There are various conditionals in sentences containing "if" which refers to past, present, and future possibilities. You can think of the main clause as expressing the consequence. Zero conditional referes to actions and facts which are irrefutable. First conditional refers to a real situation that is possible once the condition has been satisfied. Second conditional refers to unreal or hypothetical futures. Third conditional is about the hypothetical past with an impossible consequence. The mixed conditional is all about hypothetical past or state and future.
