This unit covered the basics of lesson planning, explaining why it is necessary, especially for new teachers. Examples were also given although it was made clear that the style of a plan is an individual thing. The importance keeping a record for future reference and monitoring them for evaluation was also there. I have learnt the importance of planning ahead, making good preparations and using reflective technique/evaluation in order to maximise the students learning potential.
