This unit serves as a reiteration to unit 3 on theories, methods and techniques. It is adding to the framework of methods and techniques with the past and present tense that we had learnt. It has started to get clearer with more specific examples and explanations with regards to teaching parts of speech. I noticed there different techniques in the ESA for teaching vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures and teaching language functions. The task sheet on designing ESA lesson using arrow, boomerang and patchwork is very useful.
