In this unit I have learned how to identify the 5 different conditionals, and how and when to use them. This is a difficult subject, and so I have learned that it should be taught with extra care and custom made exercises to allow the students to understand both the structure and the usage. This unit also contained direct and reported speech, so I have learned how to properly report or retell events in the correct tense. To watch for when an event occurs, and when it is I am reporting the event, as this influences what tense to use.
