I am exposed to the different reasons that a student would want to read or listen. This helps me to think about all the possible motivators and ensure that my lesson covers all possible reasons. Creating interest might be the toughest if the age group of my students are far apart. To make lesson more engaging, i think a general topic like a popular movie would be interesting. The tasks i give to my students under activate phase would have to consist of 5 different employment of specialist skills. I would need to select a topic of interest and appropriate level of difficulty.I find fill gap exercises with pictures would be most useful to students.
