This unit had very little to do with teaching English. Instead, this unit focuses on how to be a good teacher. It covers how to arrange the classroom, when and how the teacher should stand, how to balance the time between when the teacher talks and when the students talk, and when to perform this balancing act, and it covers discipline and rapport, between all members of the classroom. I'm really glad this course has these types of lessons in it as well as the mechanical lessons focused solely on teaching English, because it is good to have this more generalized knowledge, I think, as future educators.
