This unit provided me with a much clearer idea of what kind of thought processes are needed to plan an effective lesson. I particularly appreciate the specific example practice sheets, which have helped me be able to more concretely conceive of similar practice excercises I could create. I also found the point of keeping some sort of lesson journal interesting, as a way to reflect upon progress, and as a tool for future teachers who may take over a class.
