This unit taught the different types of present forms used in the English language. I learned how to correctly identify the present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous forms. I also learned various types of activities for the activate stage of the lesson. These activities need to include as much talk time as possible and have a lot of interaction (no worksheets). I also learned that there are many exceptions to these present form rules that either need to be memorized by the students or learned over time.
