This final unit served as a last chance to address some common problems faced in ESL classrooms and the solutions around them. Most of these issues had been briefly addressed in earlier lessons to varying extents, but this unit served as a synthesis of ideas taught in previous lessons and pulled from that amassed knowledge to offer up concise solutions on how to handle these issues if/when they arise. I feel much more comfortable in taking on a teaching position now than I would have been without the course. I now know what to focus on in lessons, how to teach them in an engaging, dynamic, and effective way, and how to prepare for problems I may encounter.
