This unit had some excellent information on structuring a classroom in a mannerly and engaging way. As someone who is currently a teacher in a less traditional field (performing arts), due the need for space for physical movement and large student talk time, I've always had to be flexible with seating arrangements, different group/individual activities, calling on/engaging students, etc. This unit helped me confirm some of the good stuff I've been doing, while also giving me ideas about how to maintain my class in the future.
