In this particular unit I found most of the information a good refresher. My experience over that last ten years has taught me much, mostly through trial and error. However, every year I encounter one or two students who are reluctant to participate and I am usually at a loss as to what to do. The section on reluctant students was helpful due to the fact that it offered ideas that I had not yet thought of. For example, the tape recorder. I feel that this tactic may be beneficial for some of my older students, but not so good for my younger students (ages 4-5).
