This unit showed two videos. The same teacher and class were seen in both videos with the first lesson showing the teacher less effective at engaging with the students, talking disrespectfully to them, which caused them to be hesitant in participating. In the second lesson the teacher did a much better job giving the students an explanation of what he expected in eliciting the answers he wanted. One thing I learned in this lesson was how important it can be to approach your students with respect and how comfortable they can be if you do so.
