This unit discusses the many forms of the future tense. It introduced new forms and referred to present forms as well. I learned that the future tense can be used to express a number of ideas such as predictions, promises, assumptions, threats, and intentions. I also learned that the present forms and the future forms can be easily confused because of their similarities. Finally I learned that the be + going future tense is one of the most commonly used but easily confused with the present tenses.
