This unit taught the four types of past tenses and explained when each is used and what each means. I learned when to use each form, i.e. use past simple when an action took place at a definite time. I also learned the various activate activities that can be used when teaching each form of the past tense. It is important to have as much student talk time as possible so open ended questions are always a good idea.
