A brief overview of this unit is not easy to describe. Lesson planning is something that often times goes unnoticed by the majority of a class. A good teacher is prepared, knows what to expect, and will have a lesson plan that suits him/her self and more importantly, the students. One must adapt to the needs of the students and bend whatever may have been written down on the lesson plan. I learnt from this lesson that a teacher sometimes may decide not to have a lesson plan. However, this may be suitable for a teacher who is quite experienced with teaching the English language. Once a teacher is experienced, giving a lesson will be like second nature.
