The unit on Teaching Special groups was very informative and eye opening. I have always felt intimidated when it comes to the idea of teaching one on one or business English, due to the fact that I have always taught beginners. This unit has lessoned some of that intimidation concerning teaching individuals and business groups. Knowing that specialized terminology or a business background is not an important factor when teaching English to specific groups has eased some of my initial concerns. Overall, I found this unit beneficial due to the fact that it addresses what is and isn’t required for specific groups and aims to calm any potential concerns or fears a teacher may have.
