This unit is rather like a condensed version of Unit 3 in that it reintroduces the concept of an ESA lesson structure. This time, however, it is displaying how these lessons can be organized to effectively teach vocabulary, grammar, and language functions respectively. I thought the section on language functions was significant, as often when I think about teaching language my focus is primarily on grammar and vocabulary first. Having the knowledge to recognize appropriate context in which to use language is just as important, and should not be overlooked.
