Very important and helpful unit, for anyone intersted in learning any new language. I actually recognized key elements in language learning that can be helpful in my advancement in language I am currently learning. I did notice some bias in the examples used...if one truly wanted to choose an activity based on a vocalist that represents global interest in American culture ELVIS would NOT be the artist to feature. Without question, Michael Jackson would spark interest in any student no matter their age, ethnic background or fluency level. MJ is relevant today, and he is still being searched for regardless of marketing. Elvis is only popular because of media influence. Tom Cruise? Ok...perhaps. But in today's world things are changing because people can choose their interests. Keep that in mind for your future lessons. ;)
