Unit 19 delves into the different dynamics associated with teaching special groups. In addition to teaching groups of adolescents, ESL teachers may find themselves teaching individual students, young children, and even older adults in business groups. I learned that not all business ESL students will be motivated to the same extent. As there may very well be a mix of coworkers within the same class, the teacher has to be careful with the dynamics of teaching adults.
