The ESA format makes a lot of sense. Getting students to be excited about learning through the Engage part of the class is great for any age group. Study is important but shouldn't be part of the entire lesson. Activating the study section is essential to having the material just learned soak in. There are a lot of great ideas on how to present each phase to a class. This unit really helped me brainstorm ways I can help students learn English with fun rather than grammar drills.
