The chose of using a course book is a hard one. There is a huge responsibility in using one, and a teacher has to be malleable to a lot of its content. The culture, skill level, and behavior of the students is a major factor. A good teacher therefore does a great job at adapting the content to the teachers but also keeping the materials fluid with purpose. I think this creative side to teaching will be my favorite part.
