Na’atick Language and Culture Institute are looking for an enthusiastic EFL teacher for our youngest learners (ages 4-7) in the Yucatan peninsula for the 2019-2020 school year. Start date will be determined at the time of hire. In addition to inspiring our young learners, this teacher will also teach primary school students and adolescents. Reporting to the Academic Director, this role works closely with our other English teachers (3 in total) and our librarian. This is a 10-month, full-time appointment with local salary and paid housing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Native English speaker, or equivalent

Undergraduate degree from an accredited university

A TEFL/CELTA/TESOL teaching certification and 1 year of classroom teaching experience or an undergraduate degree in primary or secondary education

Experience working with young children

Willingness to help organize and participate in special events and field trips

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Communicative Spanish

Experience working abroad

Experience teaching early years, preschool or kindergarten
