English Teacher Needed in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan

We are looking for an English teacher!! This is an 18 month contract (renewable) with Merry House English School located in Kannami, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.Job Description and DetailsTeaching conversational English, EIKEN and grammar classes to adults, teens, and children (including "Parent and Baby" classes). Both group and individual classes are offered at a friendly, family-oriented private school. Teachers are expected to follow assigned curriculum and guidelines of the school. They are responsible for planning the details and delivery of their lessons independently and are encouraged to use their creativity in their teaching. Teachers also attend special events (e.g. Halloween party) outside of normal school hours, which are paid at an overtime rate.Salary: 275,000 yen / monthTraining: 2-3 weeks at 5000 yen / dayHours: 41 hours / week, 26 teaching hours / week. If teachers exceed 26 hours, they will be paid an overtime rate of 2000 yen / hour.Requirements1. University degree2. TEFL or TESL/CELTA certification.3. Teaching experience is preferred.Additional BenefitsApproximately about 4 weeks paid vacation per year (about 2 weeks Christmas time).
