Conditionals and Reported Speech
Zero Conditional - actions/facts that are irrefutable
First Conditional - talks about a real situation in the future that is probable, possible, or certain
Second Conditional - talks about a hypothetical or future 'unreal'
Third Conditional - hypothetical past action, hypothetical past consequences
Mixed Conditional - hypothetical past action/state and the hypothetical present consequence.
Reported Speech and Direct Speech
We can turn direct speech into reported speech (aka indirect speech).
For example,
'I like to cook' turns into 'She said she likes to cook'
"I have not seen Mandy in a week turns into 'She has not seen Mandy in a week'
