I learned that most non action verbs are not used in their continuous forms, but in the simple. That helped me make correct sentence examples for the present simple examples. This course is helping me explain the english rules to my wife. It is helping me explain the common mistakes she is making. I was able to correct her mistakes but I was having trouble explaining why the correction was necessary.
