I have learned that a teacher has many varying roles in the classroom, and is required to balance all these roles in order to be effective at helping students progress and enjoy learning. Also, being able to asses the varying backgrounds and experience levels of students is very important so as to tailor my teaching methods and interactions so that I can motivate, challenge, and encourage students to do their best and help them achieve their learning goals.
