This unit covered the various types of tests for students learning English. Some examples of these were placement, diagnostic, and progress tests. It also discussed the purposes for each of the various tests and what each test is expected to measure. The Cambridge series of English language testing was covered in detail. Tests required for Business English and Academic English often required by universities another portion of this lesson.
