To be honest, I had never thought about the equality of the importance of the speaking- and writing skills. Though, when I think about it, it is logical, and it does make sense, to look at them seperately. Also it is true that through speaking, you can express emotions easily, whereas they are difficultly expressed through writing. Accuracy, kind of my forté, is definitely before fluency, which comes when you use the correct language over and over.
